Despite the weather forecast, great weather was there this year ;and the sun burns of our president and vice-president are here to testify it. The Club unfortunatly incomplete (the treasurer decided not to come and the communication advisor had a last minute snag), we woke on early morning (0500) saturday may 18 2002, we were few good friends... and the day was great, with lots of surprises. Marked this year with the presence of the Morane-Saunier 406, which show up really dangerously as it is the last one in the world to be in flight condition, unfortunatly B-25 Mitchell was announced but wasn't there, and a quick over flight of the only non english european B-17. An exemplary over flight of the Canadair CL415 of french civil security, coming directly from Marseilles, but delayed by stormy weather around Massif Central. A crazy voltige show by a Mirage 2000. Turning around its nose, flying down just over the crowd and climbing up with the help of its post-combustion. On the static side, was shown a Me-109, with its grumpy owner, and a Ju-52 being restorated by the teams of EADS, only the 2 wings motors were missing. A photoscope of each of these aircraft, still under construction, will be presented here. And, as the meeting was quite important, perhaps something else will be shown to you later...
