I've just learned that James VERINIS, Memphis-Belle co-pilot, died on march 3rd 2003. Robert MORGAN is really affected by this loss because they had kept regular contact ever since 1943. This picture, where you can see Robert Morgan (left) & James Verinis (right), was taken last february. On the 10 crew members which had taken part in the 25th mission, James Verinis is the sixth to disappear.
